Marjorie Ellen Hale died March 22, 2024. She was born April 26, 1945, to Cecil and Marguerite Flowers in Lubbock, Texas. She grew up, graduated from Monterey High School in 1964, and married Jimmie Hale (deceased) on April 23, 1965, in Lubbock before moving to Wichita, Kansas.

Marjorie enjoyed sewing during her life and could always be found with various pins and needles to make a new quilt, adjust a garment, or create a new needlepoint image. She loved to bake and shower her kids and grandchildren with gifts.

She is survived by her daughters Gwendolyn (Dale-deceased) Shogren of Edmond, Oklahoma; Monica (Dave) Brede of Topeka, Kansas; son, Thomas (Jaisalynn) Hale of Smithville, Missouri; 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held later in Lubbock, Texas at Lubbock Cemetery.
