Lona Fay O'Daniel, 82, of Derby, KS, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 17, 2025. She was born August 3, 1943, in Wardell, Missouri, the daughter of Theol and Lillian (Latham) Hankins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Trellis Tindall, and brothers Billy and Bobby Hankins.

Lona married James Thomas O'Daniel on January 4, 1964, who survives after 61 years of marriage. Other survivors include brothers Roy and Kenny Hankins of St. Peters, Missouri; daughters, Elizabeth L Moore of Towanda, KS; Jacqueline L O'Daniel of Wichita, KS, sons, James E O'Daniel of Belle Plaine, KS; Christopher T O'Daniel (Niki) of Mulvane, KS; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Baker Funeral Home in Wichita, KS. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association in her name.
