Lois Jane Ray (Jeannie), 81 of Independence Missouri, passed peacefully from this life into the loving arms of our Lord on March 16, 2024. She was born June 28, 1942, in Westmoreland Kansas. The daughter of William and Marybelle Cordts.

She is preceded in death by Marybelle Lois Howe Cordts (Mother), William Frank Cordts (Father), Travis Davolt (Grandson), Dominic DeLong (Great Grandson) and Carmelo Brentlee Casanova (Great Grandson).

She is survived by her siblings, Lana Galusha (Ted) and Bill Cordts (Debbie). Her six children, Gail Davolt (Brad), Mary Salem Gray (Steve), LaDonna Enochs, Paul Ray II, Molly Lorber (Stacey) and Megi Lake (Josh). Her nine grandchildren, Tiffany Williams (Tyler), Trent Davolt (Lisa), Carlos Casanova (Elena), Christopher Gipson (Liz), Michaela Kroulik (Tony), Kennedy Hladik, Garrett Fox, Wesley Howe and Faith Snyder.  She had many greatchildren and a great-great grandchild on the way.

She was loved by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and countless friends.

A private service will be announced by the family at a later date.
