We are sad to announce the passing of Lois Kay Ferguson 86, of Wichita Ks. Lois passed away Friday October 20, 2023.She was born December 7,1936 in Harper, Ks. the daughter of Charles and Cassie (Pepper) Stearns.

Lois drove for many years starting out as a Dump Truck Driver and finished her driving career working as a delivery driver for Metro Courier.
Lois will be dearly missed. She was a helper, who had a BIG heart. She was always there to give someone a ride, help someone in need or cook them a meal. She was well known for her chocolate sheet cake.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Ferguson, her parents Charles and Cassie (Pepper) Stearns, sisters Charlene Johnson and Beverly Ann Stearns, brother-in-law George Mitchell, sister-in-law Sandy Stearns, son-in-law Gary Bennett, son-in-law Jon Jewett, granddaughter Amber Nunn and great-granddaughter Ailei Nunn.

Survivors include daughter, Cynthia Bennett of Haysville, Ks, son Curtis Walters of Fall River, Ks, son Craig Walters (Joanne) of Whitewater, Ks, daughter Julie Nunn (Mike) of Wichita, Ks, daughter Lisa Jewett of Fall River, Ks, Kimberly Nunn (David) of Wichita, Ks. Bonus Children son Scott Ferguson (Debbie) of Lake Placid, FL, son Jimmie Ferguson (Heather) Winfield, Ks. daughter Karen Ferguson of Wa, Sister Marcene Mitchell of Fairbury, Ne, brother Roger Stearns (Mary) of Lincoln, Ne, brother Brent Stearns (Mary) of Wellington, Ks. 23 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Celebration of Life will be 2:00 pm Saturday, November 4th, 2023 at Mercy Hill Church 2110 W 45th St S, Wichita, Ks 67217
