Linda Lou Warhurst, 78, of Rose Hill, KS passed away on Tuesday May 20, 2025 at her home.  She was born on October 9, 1946 in Gassville, Arkansas, the daughter of Herbert and Marie (Smith) Poynter.

She worked in medical reception for over 25 years, mostly at the offices of Dr Randall Morgan and Dr Clifford Depew.

She married George (Big Tom) Warhurst III on April 26, 1968 and they had just recently had their 57th anniversary.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include husband George Warhurst III of Rose Hill, KS; son George (Tommy) Warhurst IV and Ellie Perkins and their son Troy of Derby, KS and daughter Dena (Warhurst) and Aaron Crossman of Blue Springs, MO and their son Cole and Jolie Crossman of St Joseph, MO and daughter Kylie Crossman of Blue Springs, MO and her brother Larry and Jane Poynter of Reno, NV

A remembrance ceremony will be held in Wichita at Wichita Water Walk Place 515 S Main Wichita, KS on July 2nd from 5-8pm and the funeral will be July 5 at 3pm at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery in Monkey Run, Arkansas.
