Linda Kay Moore

Linda Kay Moore, of Wichita, KS, passed away on Sunday, October 11th, 2026 at Wesley Medical Center in her sleep.  She was born October 31st, 1946 in Wichita, KS to Orville and Hazel (Linam) Green.

Linda graduated from West High School in 1964 in Wichita, KS.  She worked at a grocery store before her marriage in Wichita, KS and after her sons were grown she went back to work in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

During her marriage she lived in Wichita, KS; 29 Palms, CA; Panama; Colorado Springs, CO; Augusta, GA; before returning to Wichita, KS to take care of parents and family.

She married Lonnie Darrell Moore on August 3, 1968.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Hazel Green and her son Steven A. Moore.  Linda is survived by her husband of 58 years, Lonnie D. Moore of Wichita, KS; her son Dwayne A. Moore (Karoline) of Derby; her grandson Joshua D. Moore of Clinton, WI and her 3 great-grandchildren - Delilah L. Moore, Steven J. Moore and Annabelle K. Moore all of Clinton, WI.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, October 22nd, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at West Douglas Church of Christ in Wichita, KS with Russell Ashby officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Wichita Humane Society in her name.
