Linda Carol Melson, age 73, of Wichita, Ks, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 22, 2024. She is survived by her brother Brian Melson, sister-in-law Stacy Melson, her sister Judy Melson, Nephews Patrick Melson and Raymond Melson, nieces Loura Bugeresta, Michelle Avants, and Taryn Melson, great-nieces and nephews Jason Bugeresta, Angela Bugeresta, Nicole Melson, Jaden Melson, Xira Alexander, Aiden Alexander, Adriana Tucker, and Delaney Walker, and great-great nephew Calvin Bugeresta. Linda was a live-in nanny for Gihan Kader and helped her care for and raise Lara Helminger and Trent Taylor for almost two decades. She loved and cared for them as if they were her own and her time with them was priceless and unforgettable. Linda grew up and lived in Wichita, Kansas for most of her life. She also lived in St. Louis Missouri for a time with Gihan, Lara, and Trent creating wonderful memories there with them. Linda enjoyed reading books, playing her games on her tablet, and "piddling around" as she liked to call it, by herself or with loved ones. She may have had some struggles but lived life to the fullest. There wasn't anything that she wouldn't do for her family and friends. She loved so much, and she was loved just as much in return. This remarkable woman will be in our hearts forever and will be missed dearly. We love you, Aunt Linda! Life won't be the same without you. Until we met again.
