Linda Faye Kracke was born on February 13, 1950 in Halfway, MO.  She was the first child and only daughter of William John Parker and Lillian Inis (Gilden) Parker.  The Parker family resided in Wichita throughout Linda's entire life.  While growing up she spent quite a bit of time visiting family in Missouri and exploring on the family's farm.  Linda graduated from Wichita North High and was soon working full-time.  She was employed by Cessna Aircraft for about 8 years.  While working at Cessna, Linda met her husband, Michael and they were married September 7, 1979.  Most recently Linda had a daycare and was able to work from home up until retirement.  She truly loved each and every child that she cared for.  Linda enjoyed making special treats, doing arts and crafts, and having different physical activities for the kids to enjoy.  She loved spending time with family, shopping, fishing and gardening.

Linda loved Jesus, her family, her friends, her church family and her dog, Lindy.  She was the kind of person who always put others first and would go the extra mile to help.  Linda was selfless, generous, compassionate, patient and had the biggest heart.  She always made time to provide open arms and a listening ear for her family and friends.  Linda was an incredible human being.

Linda departed from us on October 12th.  She was 73 years old.  We were all both saddened and happy the moment that God called his daughter home to be with Him.  At that moment Linda was taken out of the suffering of this world and into the eternal reward she had lived for most of her life.  It has left us with a temporary hole in our hearts, but it was and is an indescribable blessing for Linda; and in that we greatly rejoice.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents: William and Lillian Parker; two grandchildren, Tristian Kracke and Michael Cotton-Kracke.  She leaves behind to mourn her passing, her husband of 44 years, Michael Kracke; two daughters, Patricia May and husband, Brett of Independence, KS, and Dawn Cotton and husband, Rick of Wichita, KS; two grandchildren, Jessica Williams of Neodesha and Makayla May of Neodesha; four great-grandchildren, Marcus, Jaecy, Kylie and Abby; and one great-great grandchild, Ivan.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Bethany Revival Center with Pastor John DiZazzo officiating.
