Leon Roy Bennett was born February 21, 1947 in Joplin, Missouri and passed away on April 18, 2024 at the VA Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.  He was 77 years old.

His parents were William and Anna Bennett.  He married Georgia (Schwab) Bennett in January 1995.  Leon was in the army from 1967 - 1972 and served in Korea.  He was a truck driver for most of his life.

His parents and several siblings preceded him in death.  He is survived by his wife Georgia Bennett, son Robert, two brothers Ken and Jack Bennett,  one sister Pat Sarver, an adopted son Randy and wife Jancy Littlejohn,  stepdaughter Sue and Kevin Nolte, six grandchildren Ashley, Erica and Jonathan Whitlock, Hannah, Jennifer and Robert Nolte, fourteen greatgrandchildren.  Services are pending.
