Lauren Bruce McCabe, 82, of El Dorado, KS, suddenly passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at his home surrounded by family.

Bruce retired as a manager at Boeing after 15 years. Bruce was on the Rural Water Board district #3 for 13 years.  Bruce loved riding horses, Team Roping, farming, raising cattle and haying the fields.

He married Barbara McCabe on April 16th 1966. He was preceded in death by his parents L.E. and Elizabeth McCabe; brother Charles McCabe. Surviving Siblings Cathi (Sam) of Austin, Tx; Debbie (Dan) McClure of Haysville, Ks.

Bruce is Survived by his wife Barbara McCabe, Daughters Dee McCabe of Wichita, Ks; Sandra (Tim) Kastner of Augusta, Ks; Allison (Steve) Kreycik of Niobrara, Ne; Son Kevin (Amanda) McCabe of El Dorado, Ks; 8 grandchildren Peyton, Riley, Amelia, Landon, Augustus, Blake, Gage and Leah.

Funeral Service will be at St. John's the Evangelist Catholic Church El Dorado,  Ks on Friday May 10th at 10:00 am.
