Larry William Griffith, 73, of Salina, passed away on October 11th 2023.
Larry was born on September 3rd 1950 in York, Nebraska to his parents Colleen Rowley and Earl Griffith. When he was 21, Larry joined the US Marine Corps and served 7 years as an aircraft mechanic. As a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, Larry served in Okinawa, Japan. He was a decorated veteran who was awarded a Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Rifle Sharpshooter Badge, and a Letter of Appreciation.
When he wasn't working, Larry had a passion for traveling and residing in his RV. He lived in many interesting Campsites and befriended numerous people along his travels. He enjoyed having coffee and sharing stories with his campsite neighbors. Larry never had a definite plan as to where he was headed next but to him, that was just part of the adventure.
Larry was predeceased by his parents, Colleen & Walter Rowley, Earl Griffith, brother, Kelly Griffith, sister, Julie Moore, brother Danny Griffith, daughter, Kimberly Griffith. Larry is survived by his brother, Jeffery Griffith, daughter, Melissa Garcia, son, Jason (Rhiannon) Griffith, daughter, Christy Griffith, daughter Brandi van Oudheusden, daughter, Katie (Barry) Watkins, daughter, Jade Griffith, step-daughter, Amber (David) Clark, 12 grandchildren, Teresa & Felix-Michael, Samantha & Aspen, Tristan & Ember, Olivia & Hannah, Rayne, Gemma, Sean & Austyn, and 6 great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Isabella & Ilai, James & Harper, Anniston.
