Kristi Lee Hamilton, 76, of Wichita, KS, passed away Wednesday, May 13th, 2026. She was born September 22, 1949, in Wichita, KS, the daughter of Kenneth and Lillian Whittier. Kristi graduated from Southeast High School in 1967, and attended classes at Kansas State University. Her marriage to Gene Newman of Stafford, KS produced daughter, Kimberly Anne and son, Christopher Todd.

Survivors include daughter, Kimberly Anne Shartzer of Valley Center, KS; son, Christopher Todd Newman and daughter-in-law Christy Newman of Wichita, KS, and stepson Scott Hamilton.

Grandchildren: Raven Whitney Dennett and Matthew Dennett, Alessa Noelle-Rose Rank, Devin and Madi Newman, Gabrial and Jasmine Loggins, Spencer and Seth Hamilton. Great grandchildren: Everest and Crimsyn Newman, Arabella Loggins.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 21st, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Riverlawn Christian Church, 4243 N Meridian Avenue, Wichita KS.
