Kenneth Alan Young, 86, of Wichita, KS, passed away Thursday, May 9th, 2024 in Wichita surrounded by his family. He was born March 22, 1938, in Falls City NE, the son of Zanona and Ruby (Fryer) Young.

Kenneth graduated from Falls City High School.  He served in the United States Navy and United States Army and ended his service in the National Guard.  Kenneth attended Wichita State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1970.

Kenneth spent most of his career at Tweco Products, where he developed patents for welding equipment and spent the latter half as an international salesman, visiting companies all around the globe.  After retirement, he ushered at Eastminster Presbyterian church in Wichita, KS.

Kenneth married the love of his life, Bonnie Lou Hunker on August 14th, 1960. She preceded in death after 59 years of marriage.   Kenneth is survived by his children, Mark (Shari) Young and Jennifer (Dan) McVey and four grandchildren, Thomas Barnes, James Barnes, Alexander McVey and Madelene McVey.
