Kenneth Dale Gehmlich, 53, of Mulvane, KS, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023. He was born January 6, 1970, in Anaheim, CA, the son of Hans and Sheila Gehmlich.

Kenneth graduated from Permian high school in Odessa Texas. While still in high school he joined the Army Reserves. Following that he joined active Army where he be came a M1 Abrams tank driver for Headhunter Troop, 1st Squadron, 1st Cavalry.  He was a retired Army veteran still connected to the VA. He also volunteered for Eureka Senior Citizens Center to help with the delivery of meals.

He was preceded in death by his father Hans J Gehmlich on July 4, 2018. Survived by his mother Shelia Gehmlich and brother Michael Gehmlich.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Greenwood Cemetery, in Eureka, Kansas, for a graveside burial. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Disabled American Veterans in his name.
