Kelly Joan (Rowell) Happel (July 14, 1955 – November 24, 2025)

Kelly Joan (Rowell) Happel, 70, of Andover, Kansas, passed away on November 24, 2025.

Born on July 14, 1955, and raised in Wichita, Kelly had a successful career in the aircraft industry, where she was known for her hard work and reliability.

Outside of work, Kelly knew how to enjoy life. She loved fishing and camping, spending many of her later years at Fall River Lake. A die-hard sports fan, she was a true "Chiefs fanatic" who rarely missed a game. She was a devoted aunt who adored her nieces and nephews, and was the person everyone counted on to help whenever it was needed.

Kelly is survived by her husband, Eric Happel; her son, Jack Happel and his wife, Lee Ann; her brothers, Frank Rowell, John Rowell, Richard Rowell, Chad Rowell, and Patrick Barber; and her sisters, Kathy Jackson and Sherry Martin.

She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Jack and Jacquelyn Rowell; her mother and step-father, Patricia and Robert Kaul; and her sisters, Judy Kulick and Diane Wierwille.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Baker Funeral Home, 6100 E Central Ave, Wichita, KS.
