Kayellen "Kay" M. Holdeman

Kayellen "Kay" M. Holdeman, 89, of Wichita, KS, passed away peacefully Monday September 28, 2026. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Reuben "R.K." Holdeman in 2008, and her sister and best friend Roberta "Bobbie" Kinion, September 15, 2021. 

Kayellen is survived by her 7 children, Donna (Bob) Zandt, Ron (Tonya) Grivois, Steve (Deborah) Grivois, Tami Grivois, Kevin Grivois, Lisa Grivois, Kimi (Jed) Day, 12 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren, along with many other family members and friends who loved her dearly.

Kayellen was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She will be remembered by her unwavering strength, kindness, generosity, and the love she so freely gave to everyone around her. 

Kayellen loved her family and friends deeply. Her greatest joy was the people she loved, and she treasured the time spent with them. She loved her church and her faith was an important part of her life. She enjoyed many things in life, including reading, gardening, listening to music, traveling and crossword puzzles. She had a curious mind and a love for simple pleasures that brought her joy. 

Kayellen will be remembered for her love, kindness, faith and devotion to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on through the family she loved so much and the many lives she touched. 

There will be a memorial service celebrating Kayellen's life on Friday October 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Ridgepoint Church 8000 W 21st Street Wichita, KS 67205.
