Kathy Ann Schill
June 19, 1957 – March 26, 2025

Kathy Ann Schill, lovingly known as "Nannie," passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 67. Born on June 19, 1957, in Newton, Kansas, Kathy touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family.

Kathy was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. Known for her generous spirit and caring heart, she built a life centered on love, laughter, and connection. Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Kathy devoted her life to caring for others, especially children. Whether she was spoiling her grandkids, looking after little ones at the daycare, or offering love and support to kids at the children's home, her heart was always open and her arms always welcoming. She had a special gift for making children feel safe, seen, and deeply loved.

She was preceded in death by her father Richard Schill, Mother Dorothy Schill (Travers), and her sisters Cindy Schill and Helen Loffland.

She is survived by her significant other of 25+ years, Sonny Guillroy, and her beloved furbaby and "favorite child," Bentley. Kathy's greatest pride was her family, and she poured her heart into raising and loving them.

She is also survived by her four children: Melissa Palmer, Michelle Schill, Anthony Sanchez (wife Melissa Sanchez), and Angel Ortiz (husband Mike Sands); her grandchildren: Adam Dunn Jr., Gabe Calderon (husband Matt Parks), Lexi Sanchez, Jada Sands, Peyton Palmer, Amya Guillroy, Alia Sanchez, Ryleigh Schill, Banx Palmer, Abby Sands, Cruz Guillroy, Jacob Sanchez, Ava Sands, and Gage Sands; and two precious great-grandchildren: Phoenix Dunn and Maverick Dunn. All from Wichita, KS.

She also leaves behind her niece, Ariana Miller, and nephew, Michael Schill—both of whom held a special place in her heart, and so many other daycare children that were like family. As well as her newly found cousins in the Schill family and many friends from her senior living group. All of which were extended family and was carried in her heart.

A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday April 8th 2025 , 2:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home in Wichita, KS.

Kathy's legacy is one of unwavering love, endless care, and a life spent lifting others. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were lucky enough to know her. So in the words of Kathy, have a blessed day everyone!
