Kathleen A. Roberts, 83, passed away peacefully at home and in the arms of her loving family, Friday, January 19th, 2024, after a brief illness.
Kathleen was born on July 20th, 1940, to RK Lehner and Martha Lorenz Lehner.

After Kathleen graduated from Cheney High School in 1958, she had a lengthy professional career at Sante Fe Railroad and Boeing before retiring in 2000. After retiring, she spent her time with the Master Gardeners of Wichita and singing in the Ascension Lutheran Choir. Her love for planting and gardening grew into a second career where she often could be found planting for both commercial and private gardens.

In January of 1963, Kathleen married her high school sweetheart, Jerry Roberts, whom she had two children with, Karla and Jeff. She was the proud grandmother, "Gigi", of two beautiful grandchildren: Monica and Charlie. Kathleen was predeceased by both her parents, RK Lehner and Martha Lehner; brother, Robert Lehner. She is survived by her two children, Karla (Dean) Ketchum and Jeff (Tammy) Roberts; sisters, Karen Dawber and Sharon Kernes; grandchildren, Monica (Drew) Roush and Charlie
Ketchum.

Services will be held at Ascension Lutheran Church on Saturday, January 27th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Botanica Wichita, an organization Kathleen felt strongly about or to Ascension Lutheran Church. Kathleen dedicated her life to her faith, her family, and her friends. She was an amazing woman who will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
