Judith McDaid Rusack, 79, of Wichita, KS, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023.  She was born January 13, 1944, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, the daughter of Earl and Anna McDaid.

Judith graduated from Fulton County High School in Pennsylvania.  She attended Temple University and graduated from Monroe County Community College, Rochester, NY, with a degree in Clinical Chemistry.

Judith married Peter Allan Rusack on April 17, 1965, and they were married for 58 years.  She loved gardening, had the most amazing green thumb, and loved to read in her spare time.  She also loved to cook and made some of the most amazing meals for her family. She left this earth too early, but has entered into God's glory and is no longer experiencing pain or suffering.  She is going to be truly missed by her family and friends.

Judith was preceded in death by both of her parents, Earl McDaid and Anna McDaid, as well as her sister, Mona Jean McDaid.  She is survived by her husband, Peter Rusack of Wichita, KS; son, Chaplain (LTC) Christopher Rusack (wife-Dieta) of Spring Lake, NC; Kevin Rusack (wife-Marla) of Fayetteville, AR; Tracy Stark (Husband-Dan) of Wichita, KS; and eight grandchildren: Matthew (wife-Autumn), Rebecca, Hannah, Kate, Ethan, Meghan, Makenzie, and Carson.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Judith's name to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
