Judith "Judy" Richmeier died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023, in Wichita.

She was born July 30, 1947, in Wichita, the daughter of Bill and Kathryn Gwinup.

Judy grew up in the small town of Sedgwick, Kansas, graduating from high school in 1965. She married Leroy Richmeier on April 16, 1970. He preceded her in death Aug. 18, 2022. Judy, a breast cancer survivor, was a longtime lover of teddy bears and Pepsi Cola. She also was a fan of Doris Day and Elvis Presley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Doug. Judy is survived by her brother Marty, sister Debbie, sons Kevin, Jason and John, and three grandchildren.

Visitation will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, at Baker Funeral Home, 6100 E. Central Ave. Suite 203, Wichita. Graveside service for family members will take place at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 3 at Towanda Cemetery. Funeral service for family and friends will take place at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 3 at Antioch Christian Church, 3741 W 15th St. N, Wichita.
