Obituary

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Juan Manuel Torres, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was born in Francisco I. Madero, Durango, Mexico, and was the son of the late Martina Torres Barrera. Juan devoted many years of his life working happily at Smithfield in Wichita, Kansas, where he spent his final years.

He is survived by his wife and life partner of 20 years, Virginia Mojicka, who stood by him with love and dedication. He also leaves behind his two beloved daughters from his first marriage, Alejandra Torres Cardoza and Gabriela Torres Cardoza, who will carry his memory forever in their hearts.

He is also survived by his siblings, Ferman Rodríguez Torres and Alicia Arámbula Torres. His presence, kindness, and hardworking spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to all his friends and coworkers at Smithfield, whose support and generosity helped make this memorial ceremony possible.

Con profundo dolor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Juan Manuel Torres, un querido esposo, padre, hijo, hermano y amigo. Nació en Francisco I. Madero, Durango, México, hijo de la fallecida Martina Torres Barrera, Juan dedicó muchos años de su vida trabajando felizmente en la compañía Smithfield en Wichita, Kansas, donde pasó sus últimos años.

Le sobrevive su esposa y compañera de vida por 20 años, Virginia Mojicka, quien lo acompañó con amor y dedicación. También deja a sus dos queridas hijas de su primer matrimonio, Alejandra Torres Cardoza y Gabriela Torres Cardoza, quienes llevarán su recuerdo por siempre en sus corazones.

También le sobreviven sus hermanos, Ferman Rodríguez Torres y Alicia Arámbula Torres. Su presencia, amabilidad y espíritu trabajador serán profundamente extrañados por todos quienes lo conocieron.
