Joyce Ann Hyden was born to Paris Frazier and Marjella Harris on September 8th, 1952 in Dermott, Arkansas. Her mom and siblings moved to California but she stayed in Arkansas with her grandmother Leola Galloway until she finished high school. Joyce accepted God at a young age with the guidance of her grandmother.
After highschool she went to California for about a year where she attended college. She then moved back to Arkansas where she met Thorphis Mack. They got married and soon after, they moved to Wichita. This union produced their one and only child Christopher Mack. After her union with T-Mack ended she spent some years raising her son and working. Joyce found love again with Glenn Hyden. Joyce worked at a few places before she got a job at Rainbows United working with the physically and mentally impaired children. She retired from Rainbows after serving many years. After retirement, she spent her time taking care of her three granddaughters and great granddaughter, helping others, and continuing her lifelong walk with God.
Joyce is survived by her son son Christopher Mack (Alissa), granddaughters; Jessica Smith (Michael), Elysabeth, Aliyah; siblings Pennellame "Penny" Marshall, Stephon Pittman, Billy Pittman, Larry Pittman, Paul Pittman, Epluribus Harris. She is meeting in glory, her mother Marjella Harris, grandmother Leola Galloway, sister Patricia Fletcher and brother Prince Pittman.
