Joseph Daniel Patton, 34, of Kechi, KS, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by his loving family.  He was born September 26, 1991, in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Kevin and Lori (Hartig) Patton.

Joseph graduated from Word of Life High School even though he attended Sunrise Christian Academy from Pre-K to his sophomore year.  He also attended Butler Community College.

Joseph was a huge animal lover, loved spending time with his niece and two nephews and was a huge Vikings fan.  Joe worked in Miami, Florida setting up concert performance venues for some amazing singer(s) such as Kiss, the Jonas Brothers, Jennifer Lopez and Billie Eilish.  He worked in warehouses using a forklift and putting together wooden pallets.  He enjoyed working with his hands and staying busy.

Joseph was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Ella Mae Patton, Donald and Sandra Hartig, his two uncles, Mitch and Kelly Patton, and a cousin, Eric Zorn. Joseph's surviving family members include his two older brothers Joshua Patton and Jeremy Patton, his nephews, Evan and Oliver Patton, and his niece, Claire Patton, his Uncle Don Hartig, Aunt Kim Delain (Bob), Uncle Jim Hartig (Amy), Uncle David Hartig (Christine), Aunt Connie Zorn (Brent), and Uncle Sam Patton (Kris).  Joe is also survived by 25 cousins and three dogs (Jazmyn, Bella, and Leonardo).

There will be a Celebration of Joseph's Life at Community Bible Chapel, 4551 Auburn St., Bel Aire, KS 67220 at 1:00 on Saturday, January 17th.
