John Alan Saranko, 75, of Wichita, KS, passed away Thursday, October 12th, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by family.  He was born August 27th, 1948, at Camp Carson in Colorado Springs, CO, the son of John Andrew Saranko and Ruth Irene Saranko (Perrin).

John graduated from Wichita High School South in 1966.  He was an Account Sales Representative for Advantage Marketing up until retirement. He was an extremely talented woodworker and a member of the Woodworkers Guild and thoroughly enjoyed all the projects he made and donated to various organizations throughout the state.

He married Zelda Faye McMahan on September 21st, 1968, in Wichita, Kansas. This year they celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.   Preceded in death by father, John Andrew Saranko; Stepfather, Jerry Lira; brother, Danny L. Saranko; stepsister, Sherri Speir; nephew, Adam Saranko.

Survivors include wife, Zelda F. Saranko of Wichita, daughters, Stacey Mizer Dalrymple (Joe) of Wichita, KS; Amanda Krussick (Joey) of Papillion, NE; sister, Chris Purser (Dan Winter) of Wichita, KS; sister-in-law, Bonnie Saranko; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; mother, Ruth Saranko of Valley Center, KS.

At the request of the deceased, no funeral services will be held.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to  Valley Hope, and Kansas Humane Society.
