John William Langholz

John William Langholz, 93, of Mulvane, Kansas, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026.

John "Gramps" was born on January 4, 1933, to Siegfried "Pief" Langholz and Leora (Meyers) Langholz. He lived a life centered on family, hard work, and caring for those he loved. His strength, wisdom, and devotion to family will be remembered by all who knew him.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Siegfried Langholz and Leora (Meyers) Langholz; his wife, Sheila Joann Langholz; and his children, Debbie Langholz, Kathleen Langholz, William Langholz, John Langholz, Gary Gray, Tom Gray, and Rex Gray.

He is survived by his children, including, Kevin (Masami) Langholz, Steven (Jessica) Langholz, Sandy (Delbert) Townsend, and Kathy Wertz. He also leaves 26 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory.

The family will hold a private inurnment at Greenwood Cemetery in Wichita, KS and a public celebration of life at a later date.
