John R. Campos, born December 12, 1962 passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 in his wife's arms.

John was devoted to his wife and gave all the glory to the Lord for all his accomplishments and journey through his cancer treatments.

John was a mechanic with Spirit Aerosystems for over 19 years.  He also worked at Nasa, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and McDonnell Douglas.  You can say that he enjoyed working in the aircraft industry.

John had a love for music.  He enjoyed playing his vinyl albums.  You could always catch him making a mixed CD.

The love of his animals was intense - Heidi, Bandit, Max, Gabby and now his inseparable  Sadie.  They were the love of his life (Furbabies).

Nobody can forget about his favorite sport teams - the Dodgers and USC Trojans.  You can always see the flags of his sport teams flying, whether its at home or at work.

He was preceeded in death by his parents, Tony (Anthony) and Mary Campos.  John is survived by his wife, Debra Campos; sisters Cande Pedraza (Raul), Toni Molter (Phil) and  Pegi Melvin (Craig); a brother Guy Morris Campos (Gina) and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Celebration of Life is November 23, 2024 from 10:00am - Noon at Sedgwick County Park - the Plum Shelter Building in Wichita, KS.
