John Vernon Adcock

John Vernon Adcock, 61, of Wichita Ks, passed from this life on Saturday, July 12, 2025, surrounded by love.  John was born October 5, 1963, the son of Roy Green Adcock and Clair Birnetta Permenter, both who preceded him in death.  He is also preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Breault, Charlotte Hutchison and baby brother, Roy Jr. John is grieved by his sister Birnetta Brott, his favorite person on the planet Tracy Pagel, his driver and protector Patti Ream, as well as many dear friends and family.  He loved each of you deeply.

John approached the cancers that plagued his body with faith, humor and grace.  He shared smiles and laughter every other Tuesday morning at the Cancer Center of Kansas (N. Emporia) for 15 months. Thank you to Victory in the Valley for the heart you gave every visit. A special thanks to Dr. Nassim Nabbout and staff for the care and friendship they gave every visit. He left renewed and ready to conquer the next step.

John asked that there be no viewing or services after his passing. He asked for his ashes to be scattered on his favorite mountain in Montana, overlooking Flathead Lake.
