Johanna Sue Goodson, Winfield, KS, was born on July 6, 1962, in Blackwell, Ok, to Joe D. and Caroline S. (Mailen) Goodson; and departed this earth on November 16, 2023 in Wichita, KS surrounded by family.

Johanna was married to Doyle Lee Hollis, Sr. on September 27, 1979, and to this union two sons were born Doyle Lee, Jr. and Shane Duane. The couple later divorced.

On June 6, 1987, Johanna married the love of her life Dewey Engro, and though the couple would also later divorce they held a close relationship until his death.

Johanna is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Joe Kilmer, Jr, and one grandson Zackary Hollis.

Johanna is survived by her sons, Doyle (Cherish) Hollis, Crestview, Florida, Shane Hollis, Pensacola, FL, one brother Richard Goodson, Enid, Oklahoma, three sisters, Kim (Terry) Hess, Overland Park, KS, Joyce (Travis) Hill, Archer City, TX, Anji (DelRoy) Spoon, Winfield, KS, three granddaughters, Cheyenne, Braylee, and Jaylnn, two grandsons Jaythan and Levi Bryce, one great grandson, Elias, her lifetime best friend Tina (Roger) Olivas, Wellington, KS, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, who will never forget her quick, sharp wit, or the smile that lit up her eyes.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Shoo Fly Community Building, South Haven, KS.

The family will be there to receive visitors throughout. There will be light refreshments. Please feel free to bring any pictures or memorabilia to this come and go affair.
