Joetta "Marie" Morgan, 84, of Wichita, KS, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2026.  She was born on August 28, 1941, in Pyatt, Arkansas to Iva (Wickersham) Patton and Samuel "Bea" Patton. Marie was the oldest sibling of seven children.

Marie graduated Valedictorian of Pyatt High School's Class of 1961.  She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Billy Ray Morgan.  Two sons: Larry (Denise) Morgan of Oklahoma City, OK and Allen (Teresia) Morgan of Benton, KS.  Her legacy continues through six grandchildren: Jason Morgan, James Morgan, Kelly (Nick) Keel, Blake Morgan, Jessica (Sam) Thomas, and Chad Morgan, as well as four great-grandchildren: Molly Keel, Wyatt Keel, Rory Morgan, and Alyssa Thomas. Roger "Nick" Patton is the only remaining sibling.

She was preceded in death by her son, Wesley Ray Morgan, and her parents, Iva Patton and Bea Patton.
