Jo Carolyn Mayfield ( nee Michau), of Rose Hill, Kansas, passed away on Monday March 31, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on September 5,1946, in Morrilton, Arkansas. Carolyn lived a life marked by faith, service, and deep connections with those around her.

A devoted member of First United Methodist church in Wichita, Carolyn was actively involved in mission work through her congregation. Her commitment to helping others left a lasting impact on her community.

Carolyn also found friendship and support through many years as a member of TOPS (Take of Pounds Sensibly), where she built meaningful relationships that enriched her life.

She is lovingly remembered by her Daughter Jennifer Coppola and husband Greg of Mulvane, grandchildren Gregory Coppola II and his wife Kate of Arkansas City, and Jackson Coppola and his wife Jenna of Derby; great-granddaughter Amelia; and another great grandchild expected soon.

Carolyn is also survived by her sister Patricia Mickey of Kirksville, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents James A. and Lois W. Michau, and sister Judy NeSmith.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 10:00 am at Hillcrest Cemetery, located at 10102 E 95th St S, Derby KS 67037
