Jimmie Nichols, 75, of Wichita, KS, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 peacefully in his
home. Jimmie was born May 21, 1948, in Henryetta, OK, the son of Charles and Alta Nichols.
Jimmie was a member of the 41 st infintary armed division of the United States Army and served
his country in Vietnam. Following his military career Jimmie spent many years working as a machinist.
Jimmie is survived by his wife Janice Nichols, son Eugene Nichols (Heather), daughter Michelle
Nichols, stepdaughter Crystal Truex (Mike) and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday November 13 th , 2023, at Baker Funeral Home of Wichita. In
lieu of flowers donations may be given to Kansas Humane Society.
