Jerrilyn Tate, 70, of Osborne, KS, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2024. Born on December 13, 1954, in Wichita, KS and a graduate of Richland High School in 1973. Jerrilyn spent much of her life between the heartlands of Kansas and the big skies of Texas.

Jerrilyn was fiercely independent, living life on her own terms with determination. She loved to pass the time by doing puzzles and creating beautiful colorings. Her adventurous free spirit and love for a good time defined her journey throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Tate and Delores Hoyt; her daughter, Jamie Mumma; and her brother, Steve Kimmel. Her memory lives on in the hearts of her loved ones: her son, Craig Burris (Amy) of Wichita, KS; her brothers Russell Tate of Luray, KS; Walter Kimmel (Kelly) of Sulphur Springs, TX; her grandchildren, Analicia Mumma Mendoza, Eyan Roberts, and Carmandy Rocha, all of Mount Pleasant, TX; and her beloved great-grandson, Arthur.

At Jerrilyn's request, no services will be held, as cremation has taken place care of Baker Funeral Home in Wichita, KS. Her family encourages those who knew her to honor her memory by sharing stories and celebrating her legacy in their own way.
