Jennifer Lynn Hanna, 72, of Wichita, KS. Was a caring wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. She went to be with her Lord and Savior suddenly on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at her home with her loving husband Tess Hanna.

Jennifer was born October 17, 1951 in Wichita, KS., the daughter of George Trent Sr. and Nelda Trent. She graduated from East high school in Wichita, KS. and attended the Nazarene Bible college in Colorado Springs, CO where she studied music ministry. She was a skilled piano player and singer. Jennifer loved to be of service to God by sharing her talents on the music ministry team at Udall Methodist Church.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Jennifer. During her leisure time she loved to be with family, sing, play the piano, paint, and crochet. Jennifer's greatest joy was her three grandchildren, who she adored with all her heart. When not spending time with her family she looked forward to being with her loving friends at church.

Jennifer married Tess Hanna III on September 14, 1974. This year marks their 50th year together; they shared a love for the Lord and each other that only grew stronger through the years. Jennifer is survived by her husband Tess Hanna III, her sister, Jeanine Zimmer, brother, George Trent Jr., daughters, Carrie Bottomley & Amy Safford, son in-law, Adam Stafford, nephews, Dwayne and Cody, nieces, Valerie, Audra & Maria, and grandchildren, Bailee, Rielee, and Brody

Funeral services will be May 1, 2024. Visitation 10-11AM, service at 11AM and graveside service to follow at old mission Wichita park cemetery at 2PM.
