Jeanne E. Holliday, passed away on February 28, 2025 at Wheatland Healthcare in Kingman, Kansas.

She was born on January 29, 1930 in Newton, KS, the daughter of Peter F. and Elizabeth (Lowen) Unruh.  She lived in Newton for the first 40 years of her life.  She married Norman Gerth Spore on July 18, 1949.  He preceded her in death on December 21, 1955.

On February 6, 1970 she married Dennis O. Holliday in Newton, KS.  She moved to Kingman, KS March 1, 1990.  Dennis passed away in 2016.

Jeanne was a member of the Kingman Christian Church, V.F.W. Auxiliary, American Legion, and the C. Club.

She was also preceded in death by her daughters – Deanna Marie (Mike) Kelsheimer and Carole Lynne (Cory) Saylor in 2022.

Survivors include her step-daughter Denise (Mike) Butterfield of Topeka, KS and step-son Dallas (Rosemary) Holliday of Avon, CO; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Burial will take place at Halstead Cemetery in Halstead, KS.  Date and time is still to be determined.  Any memorial contributions may be sent to Wheatland Health and Rehab in Kingman, KS or to the Kingman Christian Church in her memory.
