Jeanenne M. Cullop (Burhmann), 73 passed away on October 17, 2023 in Wichita, Kansas.  She was born in Hartley, IA to Louis and Ada (Bethke) Buhrmann.  She grew up on the family farm south of Hartley, graduating from Hartley HS in 1968 before attending business school in Spencer, IA.  She married Steven Sorensen shortly after and moved to Ames, IA before relocating to Kansas.  She worked as an Administrative Assistant for a number of organizations over her years and was always known for her hard work and dedication to any and all tasks at hand.  She was committed to supporting her children, being heavily involved in Valley Center's PTA, fundraising, proms and sports programs.  She married Jeffrey Cullop on January 1, 2000 and a new century began to unfold.  She was so creative, always helping with flowers, food and decorations for family reunions, weddings and parties.  She enjoyed being outside with her dogs, working in the garden, taking care of her flowers, and playing with her grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her parents Louis and Ada Buhrmann and sister LuAnn Hendrick-Stockton.  She is survived by her husband Jeffrey Cullop, son Bryan (Arin) Sorensen and their children Bryson and Blayne; daughter Shandra (Matt) Robb and their children Alexis, Xander and Korvin; stepson Daniel (Kayla) Cullop and their daughter Ella; stepson Matt (Amanda) Claxton; brother Dale (Jalane) Buhrmann; and other relatives.  A celebration service will be held at 10:30 am on November 6, 2023 at LeVenue, 109 W. Main Street, Valley Center, KS 67147  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the American Cancer Society.
