Jean Collins of Wichita, KS passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 28, 2026. Jean was born March 17th, 1950 to Lee and Mary Weber.

She always found joy in her books and enjoyed sharing her books with loved ones. Her Osage Indian Tribe heritage was a very important part of her life.

She was extremely intelligent and held a master's degree in social work. She always cared so much for others, and would give more than she ever had herself to anyone in need. Her big, bright, beautiful, brown eyes and smile were infectious.

Jean is survived by her greatest love and devoted caregiver Denise Magruder, her daughter Jenny Martin (Michael Martin), her grandchildren: Daeton Ramirez (Michaela Ramirez), Kristen Baker, (Ashley Martin, Alex Martin), her great-grandchild Zahlias Ramirez, her five older sisters and one younger brother.
