Jan Christie Chiles 64 , Of El Dorado, Ks. Passed away Saturday August 2nd, 2025 at her home. She was born March 10th, 1961 in Ft, Meade, MD. The daughter of Richard and Evelyn ( Ballard), Chiles.

She grew up in a military family and moved around alot, even stayed in different countries, She had two brothers Kevin and Andrew, she was the middle child. Jan received her associates degree in the arts, at Wichita State University in 1998. Jan also worked at Wichita State University for Fourteen years as head of Veterans assistance in the financial aid office.

Jan was a spiritual person that believed in our native american ways and getting guidance from our ancestors. Jan loved nature, the beauty of it, the sounds and would spend hours sitting and video recording it and taking pictures.

Jan loved crime, history or anything about learning documentaries . Jan spent a few years tracing our genealogy family tree going way back.

Survivors included: Daughter Nancy Owens- Jones ( Only Child) , Nancy's Husband Bishop Jones Jr, Their Children: Chandra, Isaac, Hannah, Jaida And Makaila, Great GrandChildren: Arias, Amarion, Deandre, Aaliyah, Amaya, Luna, Sawyer, Dillon, Ella, Carter, Adelina And Hazel.
