JAMES ALTON CASTLEBERRY, 42, of Pratt, Ks passed away October 27, 2024.

He was born May 29, 1982 in Kingman, Ks to Edward and Stacy (Bays) Castleberry.

James graduated from Pratt High School in 2000.  He worked for various oil field companies.  Later becoming a self-employed handy man.

James had the biggest heart and would help anyone that needed it.  His greatest love was for his children and his animals.

James is survived by his mother, Stacy Castleberry and Jerry Fredrick.

Sons, Mathew Garnett and Cameron Castleberry and daughter, Justus Garnett, all of Pratt,

Brother, Joe Castleberry of Hammond, La and sister, Susan Olson of Brainerd, Mn, grandmother, Wanda Castleberry of Pratt and numerous nieces and nephews.

James is preceded in death by his father, Ed, sisters, Lynn Ford, Penny Hughes and Carol Miracle, Grandparents, Eddie and Vera Castleberry and Floyd (Newt) and Letha Bays.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
