Jackie Smith was born on  August 6th, 1930  and passed peacefully January 21st, 2026 at the age of 95 at Harry Hynes Hospital in Wichita, KS. Jackie Smith was a long time resident of Wellington Kansas where her and her husband Joe C. Smith decided to settle and build a family.

Jackie is Preceded in death by husband Joseph C. Smith of Wellington Kansas and is survived by daughter Lynn Berke of Newberry Park California, her son Kent Smith of Haysville, KS and daughter Terri McCoy of Wellington, KS along with 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Jackie enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren especially sharing teaching her recipes in the kitchen. Jackie also enjoyed her local bridge group, gardening and sitting out on her patio watching the birds at the feeders She was dearly loved by family and friends and will be missed deeply. Graveside services will take place at a later date.
