Jack L. Hamilton, 68, of Wichita, KS. passed away Monday, June 9, 2025.  He was born April 28, 1957, in Wichita, KS, the son of Lee (John) Carpenter.

Jack graduated from Wichita South High School in 1974 and shortly after joined the Marine Corps.

As a United States Marine, Jack was awarded the Meritorious Mast Certificate.  After his honorable discharge, he returned back to Wichita, KS and worked for Cessna Aircraft before starting his career in the Wichita Police Department in 1981 where he later retired in 1997.  Even in retirement he continued to give back to his community delivering groceries to local senior citizens.

Survivors include sons, Clinton Drouhard and Garrett Hamilton, brother, Jeff Carpenter, sister, Donna Carpenter and mother, Lee Carpenter, all of Wichita, KS.

The family has chosen not to have a public funeral service.  If anyone would like to make donations, Jack's wishes were to send donations to PanCAN the Pancreatic Cancer Network, Victory in the Valley or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
