Harold Martin Nevitt, 89, of Wichita, KS went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2024. He was born July 20, 1934 in Emporia, KS.

Harold graduated from Central Academy in McPherson, KS. in 1952. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1953, and served until June 1957, attaining the rank of 1st Class Petty Officer. He married Elizabeth (Betty) Kier in Long Beach, California on September 19, 1958. They were married 65 years. He attended First Church of the Nazarene. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary (Dunkin) Nevitt, son Daniel Nevitt, brother Everett Nevitt, sister Arleita Nevitt, and grandson Carl Carpenter.

Survivors include his Wife of the Home, daughters Lurinda Nevitt-Carpenter (Jim) of Wichita, KS; Julie Nevitt-Bell (Bryan) of Peck, KS; son John Nevitt of Wichita, KS; 10 grandchildren, and 11 great- grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Sat. March 9, 2024 in the chapel at First Church of the Nazarene Wichita, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene.
