Harold Hardesty  97, of Wichita Kansas passed away on October 15th, 2024. He was surrounded by family members.

A graveside service will be held on October 21st at 1:00 pm at Resthaven cemetery, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas.

Harold was born in Coal Valley, Kansas on April 28th, 1927 to John W. Hardesty and Pearl (Wheat) Stage. He was preceded in death by his wife Clara Hardesty and daughter Sandra K. Backus. He is survived by his daughter Judy Norris ( Charles) Wichita , son Danny Hardesty (Carolyn) of Texas, 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.

Harold came from a very meager means and grew up in southeast Kansas, coal country. From his stories early years were a bit of a struggle.  He later became a number one salesman, business manager and owned two companies. Not bad for a boy with no shoes to wear.
