Gloria Jean Perez, 86, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born on October 6, 1939, in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Antonio and Severiana (Avila) Rojas.

Gloria graduated from high school and attended Garden City Community Junior College, earning her  Associate's Degree in nursing in 1978.

She worked as a registered nurse for 27 years, retiring in 2005 and moving from Riverside, California, where they lived for 18 years, back to Kansas.  Gloria was a member of Calvary Chapel Fellowship and enjoyed the numerous friends that she called family there.

Gloria married Rudolph Perez Sr on May 3, 1958, and had five children.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Severiana Avila; three brothers; , Max, Tony, and Richard; and three sisters; Carmen, Mary, and Laura.

Survivors include Rudy Perez Sr., children; Valerie, Rudy Jr., Gary, Troy and Leslie and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren

A celebration of life service will be on Saturday , January 17, 2026, at 11:00 at Calvary Chapel Fellowship in Wichita, Kansas. In place of flowers, memorials may be given to Calvary Chapel Fellowship or Alzheimer's Association in her name.
