George Dennis Watkins born July 7, 1939, died June 12, 2024.  He was born in California, but raised in Oklahoma and Wichita, attending Derby High School.  A man of faith and integrity as he served as an elder and full-time minister as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.  He volunteered in many construction projects for Kingdom Halls and learned Spanish to serve in Spanish congregations for several years. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Erin Watkins, one son Luke Watkins of Wichita, three daughters, Georgette (Jody) and Mark Clause of Klamath Falls, OR., Sonya Louthan of Wichita, Cindy Staeheli of Shelbyville TN, and one brother Jim and Linda Watkins of Granbury, TX.

A memorial of his life will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 11:30 AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, located at 2700 S. Richmond, Wichita, Ks.
