Gary Lee Sevier, 86, of Kingman, Kansas, passed away, Wednesday July 29, 2026, at his home with his wife by his side. He was born on January 18, 1940, in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Troy and Beulah (Taton) Sevier.
Gary graduated from Argonia High School in 1958. He attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University for 1 year. He purchased a service station to become known as Gary’s Service Station in Argonia for 35 years. He farmed the homestead, volunteered his time in 4H for several years, woodworking and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He married Norma Jean (Corderman) Graves on November 28, 1991, sharing life with Norma for 34 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Troy and Beulah Sevier.
Survivors are his wife, Norma Sevier; daughter Kim (Sevier) Purcell of Wichita, Kansas, son Scott Sevier of Argonia, Kansas. Stepchildren LaDawn (Scott) Ferrell of Pratt, Kansas, Troy (Toni) Graves of Jones, Oklahoma; 6 Grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Private service reserved for the immediate family at a later date.
