Elton "Robby" Edward Robinson, 83, of El Dorado, passed away peacefully at his home on August 27, 2025.

Robby was born on July 7, 1942, in El Dorado, Kansas, to Roy and Thelma (Gragg) Robinson. He grew up in El Dorado before setting out to travel the world, always carrying his hometown roots with him.

He lived a life filled with love, laughter, hard work, and a little bit of mischief. A proud Navy man, Robby served his country with honor. Later, as a truck driver, he came to know every back road in America. He could fix just about anything, and if something was broken, you could count on him to figure it out. But more than his skills, it was his warmth that people will remember—he was always ready to give advice, share a joke, or tell one of his unforgettable stories.

Robby was so much more than the things he did. He was a devoted son, a loving husband, the best dad, a doting grandpa, and a loyal friend. He loved his family fiercely and never missed an opportunity to brag about the full, blessed life he was given.

Through his life, Robby was blessed with many children. His first marriage brought him four children: Diane, Vanessa, and twin boys lost at birth. His second marriage added a son Brad and daughter Holly Robinson. His third marriage added a son Lonnie Owens. His fifth marriage brought him four more children: Brandi, Jeramie, Mandi Brown, and AnitaShay Robinson.

Of all his accomplishments, nothing made him prouder than his children and grandchildren. He lived for his family and for Tina, his loving caretaker, and through him, we all came to know what unconditional love truly looks like.

Robby is survived by Tina Moore of the home; his children Lonnie (Sally) Owens, Brad Robinson, Holly (John) Moore, Brandi (Jason) Hare, Jeramie Brown, Mandi Brown,  AnitaShay (Jesse) Conn, David Jianfortoni and Alyssa Howland; his sister Vicki (Tony) Kingsley; his brother Robert Cody; along with several aunts,uncles, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Thelma Robinson; his sister Glennis; his twin infant sons; and his daughters, Vanessa and Diane.

Though our hearts ache, we find peace in knowing that his legacy will live on through the stories he told, the lessons he shared, and the memories we hold close. We will miss him deeply, but we will carry him with us always.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 2:00 pm in Reece Kansas at the Reece Cemetery. If you are unable to make the graveside service, reception to follow at True Lies in El Dorado, Ks approximately about 4:00 pm.
