Ella Christine Seager
September 12, 1960 – December 14, 2025
Ella Christine Seager, age 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. Born on September 12, 1960, in Dodge City, Kansas, Ella lived a life rooted in faith, service, and love for others.
Ella was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Rex Irwin and Nina Ruth DuPree; her cherished daughter, Gloria J. Thomas; and mother-in-law Ida Mae Seager.
On June 23, 1984, Ella married the love of her life, William H. Seager. Their marriage was built on devotion, faith, and family, and together they created a home filled with warmth, generosity, and unconditional love.
She is survived by her husband, William H. Seager; her children, Ella Rheanon Seager, Trista (Nicholas) Mayes and Brandon Seager; her brothers and sister, Brian Dupree, Ronald Dupree, and Tressa Dupree; and her many treasured grandchildren: Devin, Meleah, Victoria, Dallas, Cadillac, Lisa, Alyssa, Kayden, Kaiser, Korbyn and Houston, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
Ella dedicated her life to caring for others. She worked tirelessly in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant, as a realtor, and as a personal home health caregiver to the elderly. Her compassion, patience, and strong work ethic touched countless lives. Caring for others was not just her profession—it was her calling.
A deeply giving and thoughtful person, Ella lived her life guided by her strong faith in God and her commitment to Christianity. She was actively involved in church and found great comfort and purpose in serving the Lord. Ella loved to cook, to gather people together, and to bring smiles to those around her. Her selflessness, kindness, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
Today, we celebrate Ella's life with the assurance that she is now in the presence of the Lord she loved so deeply. Though she will be profoundly missed, her family and friends find peace in knowing she has gone to a better place, reunited with loved ones and resting in eternal grace.
Ella Christine Seager's legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
