We remember Elizabeth "Irene" Clark, of Augusta, Ks, whose spirit departed us on May 15th, 2024 at the age of 98. Irene was born on March 5th, 1926 in Bayard, Kansas. Irene loved to garden, make center pieces, holiday décor and make food for everyone. Although she loved to compete with family members about who made the best baked item.

Irene has left a mark on all the hearts of those whose life she touched. We will all remember her for her warmth, kindness and gentle strength. A ceremony for remembrance was held on May 23rd, 2024 at Haverhill Christian Church; where we all shared stories, laughter and tears.

Irene is survived by her loving husband Fred Clark, her daughter Lisa Booth and her husband Danny, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.

Irene will be laid to rest next to her daughter Renay and her three sisters at Mount Hope cemetery in Independence, Ks. If you would like to honor Irene, please send donations to Haverhill Christian Church for the children's program.
