On September 24, 2025, Eileen McWhorter Brown, age 75, of Derby, Kansas, passed away peacefully at her home. Daughter of Joe and Helen McWhorter, Eileen was born on August 14, 1950, in Malvern, Arkansas. She lived a full life surrounded by the things she enjoyed most. She loved reading, gardening, crafting, and playing cards, and she treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy (Braxton) Hill; grandchildren, Katelynn, Evan, Lauren, and Charlotte; her son, Gilbert Hoover; granddaughter, Jacquelin; and her brother, Joe Mick McWhorter of Wisconsin, along with his family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Helen McWhorter and her brother Sidney Watson.

Eileen was cremated. A private memorial was held for family to honor her life and remember her with gratitude and love. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers.
