Doris Terry Clover, 86, of North Newton, KS, passed away at her home on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023, surrounded by family.

She was born Nov. 16, 1936 in Havana, AR, to AT and Geniece (Kennedy) Terry. She attended elementary school in Yell County Arkansas where she skipped two grades. Doris graduated from East High School in Wichita, KS.

Doris was a grandmother to 80+ foster children, a business owner, and a post worker. After retirement, she devoted her time with her family and grandchildren. Her hobbies included travel both with family and by motorcycle, reading, and video games.

She married Lawrence A. Clover on June 6, 1952. They were together for 66 years. He preceded her in death Feb. 20, 2019.

She is survived by her son, Terry Clover (Marty) of Walton, and daughter Cynthia Clover-Regier (Gordon) of North Newton; grandchildren Kimberly (Regier) McCallister (Christopher), Melisha (Regier) Oakleaf-Wilson (Tanner), TJ Cover, and Shannan Clover, all of Newton. She had 10 great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren.
